Responsibilites:
  • Make outbound telephone calls to various different customer types
  • Become confident in conveying the benefits of a Funeral Plan to capture customers interest
  • Build immediate rapport with customers and team members
  • Handle aspects of rejection, knowing that other opportunities are around the corner.
  • Always go the extra mile to meet customers needs and deliver outstanding results
  • Deliver great customer outcomes and growing remuneration

  • The right candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be a genuine people person, a fast learner and be very hard working
  • They will be confident making outbound telephone calls to various different customer types, and be competent in conveying the benefits of a Funeral Plan to capture the interest of the customer
  • They will be robust and resilient -they will be comfortable dealing with rejection, knowing full well the next opportunity will be just around the corner
  • They will be a true people person, able to build immediate rapport with customers and team members alike
  • They will always go the extra mile to meet customer needs to deliver outstanding result
  • They will be ambitious and driven to succeed by delivering great customer outcomes and growing remuneration


Personal qualities

  • Ideally you will have worked in a sales environment or customer facing telephony role, although this is not critical
  • You will have worked in customer facing roles and can provide examples where you have provided good customer outcomes
  • You will have a clear, professional and friendly telephone manner, and an ability to quickly build rapport with people
  • You will have a good grasp of spoken English and ability to communicate with a wide range of people/ages
  • You will have the confidence to pick up new skills and product knowledge to enable you to provide a great customer experience over the telephone


Desired qualifications

GCSE grade C/4, equivalent and above including English and maths is desierable.
