About the apprenticeship

Duties

• General marketing and communications administration including social media planning and posting creative, engaging, online material using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Supporting campaigns planning and activation (including design, PR, events and print)
• Market research and data entry
• Developing digital campaigns using both organic and paid for advertising
• Contribute positively to the profile development of 2B Enterprising and its products.

Additional information

This role would suit someone with a real creative flair, to help showcase quality products and market to customers online. A passion for enterprising, education and raising the ambitions of young people would be of an advantage as the product range is focused on developing the next generation of ambitious, enterprising, healthy and ethical citizens of the future.
Learning from an experienced and friendly team, you'll also study towards a nationally recognised qualification alongside your role giving you the opportunity to directly apply your learning to an exciting new business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious apprentice to join our small team. We welcome a positive ‘can do' attitude, passionate about their work and their career with an eye for detail. We are looking for a reliable team player, able to work independently and be active within our small team.

As a marketing and communications apprentice, we are looking for someone with a creative flair to develop content online that shows our business brand as we begin to grow.

Qualifications

You need to have 5 GCSE's
• Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
• 3x GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject
• Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and Mailchimp email platform
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience in web design and HTML
• Strong writing and communication skills (including copywriting)
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks
• Thrives working in a fast-moving environment

Who can apply?

To be eligible to apply you:

  • will be at least 16 years of age at the time of making your application
  • will not be in full-time education (you can apply while still attending school/college/university but will have finished or intend to finish your studies by the time your apprenticeship starts)
  • will need to meet the Civil Service Nationality requirements to apply.

ALS eligibility

Please note that ALS our training providers have their own eligibility in order to provide the funding required to undertake an apprenticeship. You may not be eligible to apply if:

  • you already hold a qualification at Level 3 or above in ICT, Software, Web and Telecoms or a similar subject
  • you already hold a qualification at Level 3 or above in Business Administration, Customer Service or a similar subject

What are the benefits?  

How much will I be paid?

You will earn £19,240 a year while training. When you pass your apprenticeship you can apply for a permanent job at the Welsh Government. Within 2 years of starting your apprenticeship you could be earning £22,500. 

You will get 31 days holidays as well as 10 public and privilege days. We offer flexible working arrangements to help you get the right work/life balance. You will also be eligible for membership of the Civil Service Pension Scheme
