An ApprenticeProject Manager position has become available within our design and fit-out management company. This role is ideal for an individual who works well to deadlines, has a good understanding in credit control and who is confident in managing a number of people at one time.
Day to day activities include, but are not limited to business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site management duties.

The apprenticeship will consist of working with the employer 4 days a week and 1 day a week in college. An assessor from Highbury College will visit the workplace every 6 weeks toobserve the apprentices' ability and skills in their daily role. The the final grade will be determined by an 'end point assessment' which will consist of 3 separate assessments:

Things to consider
Very hard work with a mixture of different roles covered under Project Management with multiple sites to run at one time, however support will be available from colleagues.
Our office is based with less than 5 minute walk to Petersfield train station. Ideally the candidate would have a full driving licence but this is not essential.
Day to day activities include, but are not limited to business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site management duties.
Duties may include:
- Organisation of labour and materials
- Ensuring the quality of work and materials on site are to the best possible standard
- Financial management including purchasing and invoicing
- Keeping in line with the programme set
- Promote and maintain health and safety standards. Ensuring adequate signs, documentation and PPE are on site
- Provide input and support to the pre-construction team including producing programmes
- Support the project manager and project director in their roles

- Have the ability to work under pressure
- Be confident in communicating with clients as well as building control and other stakeholders
- Be organised and able to think ahead
- Be positively reactive to any problems that arise
- Have good knowledge of the construction trade
- Be confident in checking design drawings with architects, surveyors and engineers
- Have a keen interest in developing a career In Construction Project Management

- The entry requirements for the apprenticeship qualification are A*-C/9-4 in GCSE, or equivalents,maths and English or Functional Skills Level 2
