The role of Apprentice Accounts Technician is a varied and key supporting role. You will be responsible for preparing and working on customer accounts across all client types i.e. sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.

The role will include, but is not limited to, the following, for which full training will be given:
- Entering client day to day sales, purchases and bank records using either accounting software or excel.
- Preparing bank reconciliations.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
- Tax computation calculation.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly accounts and management accounts.
- Year end accounts for both corporation and personal tax returns.
- Preparation of monthly payroll on Sage One
- Speaking to HMRC, as required.
- Answering client calls and emails.
- Making client calls and preparing emails.
