An exciting opportunity exists within Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Learning and Development Department for a highly motivated individual to join the Business Team in providing support education programmes available to existing staff, apprentices, trainees and non-medical students.

This is an interesting and varied position which will provide support to learners in accessing education and the resources required to support this, such as funding and the relevant IT equipment to support learners to access education remotely. Ensuring that the service offered is of high quality, meets the Trust priorities and responds to local and national requirements for a widening workforce.

The post holder will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have experience using computer software packages and the ability to prioritise a very diverse workload with tight deadlines. Have good analytical skills and the capability to work in detail with a high degree of accuracy.

The role requires the ability to work as part of a wider team as well as having the ability to work independently when required, using initiative, responding to change and working flexibly. Some home working will be required for this role.

This is a fixed term post for 12 months only.

It is a statutory requirement for roles that involve work in care homes that staff are up to date with their Covid vaccination status to be able to work in that environment, unless the person has a valid medical exemption. Where a role requires this, they will need to demonstrate that they meet this requirement during the recruitment process.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.

We will consider requests to work alternative hours or vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.
