The post holder will have a strategic focus, ensuring that marketing activities align to brand guidelines and shape business needs and objectives.

Main Duties:
  • Develop and implement an operational marketing strategy, key marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement plans to deliver against key business objectives
  • Increase content opportunities across all potential platforms including social media, media partners and other distribution outlets to ensure that content is as wide reaching as possible
  • Deliver data and evidence driven decision making to inform marketing strategies
  • To coordinate all PR content (online, offline, live) working closely with internal teams or external agencies if appropriate
  • Track and report on marketing/sales data to inform senior management decision making
  • Establish marketing goals based on campaign analysis, product/service performance and market forecasts
  • Manage the marketing budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans
  • Approve and oversee the creative development of a range of marketing materials/channels
  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders to support marketing delivery and corporate reputation, including building strong relationships with external media partners

Other duties include:
  • Engage in the implementation of all quality systems

  • Show a commitment to ensuring that children and young people learn in a safe environment
  • Participate in relevant and appropriate training and development as required
  • Ensure that all information is secured, used and maintained in line with internal and external standards including ensuring that confidential information is processed in line with the Data Protection Act and Company policies
  • These duties may be amended from time to time by the senior management team in consultation with the post holder

Desired qualifications

Entry requirements:-

Standard Entry:
  • To be eligible to study for a degree, typically candidates will have achieved grade C/4 or above in at least five GCSEs, and at least two A-levels passes or any equivalent Level 3 qualifications
  • Any Level 3 Apprenticeship

Non-standard Entry with work experience:
  • Equivalent work experience (typically 2 years relevant experience at an appropriate level) - candidates may have previously been in a digital marketer role or be able to demonstrate a real passion and personal experience in digital marketing.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme, allowing for contextualized applications. The nature of an applicant's work experience is as important if not more so than the duration of that experience. The experience could include Digital and Marketing Analysts, Digital Marketing Executives, Digital Marketing Campaign Managers, Social Media Specialists, Content Marketing Executives, Digital Producers and Pay Per Click Analysts.

Informal Interviews:

Informal interviews may be held by academic/ admissions staff where:
  • The suitability of a candidate is in doubt and further evidence is sought
  • The candidate presents an unusual set of qualifications taken or pending, and an appropriate conditional offer needs to be determined
  • Candidates may need advice on the appropriateness of the programme

Future prospects

  • 92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks

Things to consider

Method of Working:
  • Northern Regeneration expects all staff to work effectively as part of a team or teams, delivering high quality education and support to staff and learners
  • As a minimum this requires dealing with people politely and tactfully, communicating with colleagues and learners both formally and informally, offering guidance and information in accordance with Northern Regeneration's guidelines, policies and procedures when requested and contributing to the maintenance of the Construction Skills Village environment. In order to do this, staff are expected to make themselves aware of the relevant policies and procedures
  • All staff are required to maintain confidentiality as required

Public Relations:
  • Considerable importance is attached to the public relations aspect of all work undertaken by Northern Regeneration CIC and the Construction Skills Village staff. It is a prime objective, therefore that staff will at all times project to the public the image of Northern Regeneration CIC and the Construction Skills Village as keen to assist wherever possible, and positively promote the work that is carried out across its services
