This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a strong desire to pursue a career as a developer within a small but successful, friendly and growing business application software company. The role involves the design, development, implementation and support of ManSys®, our web-hosted software product for International Trade. This role ideally suits a self motivated individual who can feel comfortable working in a small team, but without continuous supervision. In addition to pure software development the job-holder can expect to become involved directly with supporting our installed user base so being a good speaker and writer of English is important as all staff deal with clients over the phone and by email when required.
1. Development of new modules for ManSys® International Trade application, for web deployment for all clients
2. Assist implementation team in the delivery of new client projects
3. Support existing ManSys® customers
4. Development and Support of internal systems such as TicketsWise
5. Review business requirements and/or specifications.
6. Design functional system areas.
7. Perform coding to technical specifications and quality standards
8. Execute unit and system testing
9. Create and maintain technical documentation.
10. Work with the Support team to:
a. understand requirements and bugs or defects detected by the customers
b. Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
c. Perform maintenance programming & correction of identified defects11. Report progress to the Technical Director and/or Project Manager(s) on a regular basisDevelopment of new modules for ManSys® International Trade application, for web deployment for all clients
