Leading Land and Planning Consultancy are looking to add to their surveying team and currently require an graduate calibre Land Acquisition Surveyor to join the business, working in conjunction with the senior partners of the business, assisting in the acquisition and planning of new/existing sites working closely with the Planning Dept.

Specialising in the Telecoms Sector, you will work with the leading network operators in the industry, identifying new sites for development as well as existing sites requiring upgrades. Based out of the North West office, you will have a mentor to work alongside and will receive full training.

To apply the Graduate Land Acquisition Surveyor will need the following background:

A strong academic background in a RTPI or RICS recognised subject such as Estate Management, Town Planning or Property Management. (Degree and/or Masters)
Ideally module experience from your further education qualification covering land acquisition and management
Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.

The key duties for the Graduate Land Acquisition Surveyor will include

To work in conjunction with Senior Acquisition Surveyors on key projects across the country.
Attend regular training in order to gain a full understanding of land valuation and acquisition.
Assist in the reviewing of lease agreements and obtain design drawings including attending site surveys when needed.
Assist in the contract agreement between the site owner and network provider.
Work effectively as part of a team, ensuring project deadlines are met and the high standards of the business are maintained.

The Graduate Land Acquisition Surveyor position is a perfect role for an applicant looking to start their APC in either a RTPI or RICS related discipline. You will have the opportunity to move around the business gaining more experience, with the ultimate aim of becoming Chartered in the future.
