Practice Nurse Lead - Laurie Pike Health Centre
Job overview
We have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Lead Practice Nurse to join our busy but friendly Practice in Birmingham.
With just over 6000 patients the practice is committed to providing excellent patient care and we are looking for a dedicated professional who shares the same values to join us.
Main duties of the job
You need to have excellent communication/interpersonal skills, good organisational skills and experience working as an autonomous practitioner to assess, diagnose, treat and provide advice and care to patients and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and discharge or refer as appropriate.
The successful applicant will be required to lead a small team of GPNs HCAs whilst supporting our GPs and Allied Health Professionals. This will include managing chronic disease, taking an active part in our QOF and local incentive scheme planning and delivery.
Experience of leading a team is essential.
