What will the apprentice be doing?
  • Applying knowledge gained on the job and through your Apprenticeship to support us in achieving our business objectives.
  • Working with a range of colleagues to widen your experience, as availability allows, and meet the requirements of the service.
  • Participating in meetings and briefings as directed by your manager making an appropriate contribution.
  • Completing all learning commitments in support of your apprenticeship programme.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 4 Fire Safety Inspector Apprenticeship with Semester Learning & Development.

The apprenticeship is delivered at the employer location over a period of 2 years. Knowledge (Off the Job) will be delivered by distance learning online, and will be available 24/7. On the job, you will be carrying out the duties of a fire auditor and inspector, supervised by qualified personnel.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

At the end of the apprenticeship, the learner will be eligible to join the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE)as an Associate.
