An exciting opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic graduate or a confident, experienced Graduate Behaviour Support Worker to join an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated Secondary School in Reading. This position will be full time. You will be working within either KS3 or KS4, dependant on where your experience lies.

This mainstream Secondary school are seeking a behaviour support worker with strong behaviour management skills, a compassionate ear, and excellent patience to assist with a child who has significant behavioural issues. The child has an EHCP which the successful applicant will be responsible for adhering to, and for developing new strategies for as their Graduate Behaviour Support Worker.

This Secondary school are looking for confident, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who are enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child's education. Ideally, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training.

The ideal Graduate Behaviour Support Worker will be able to commit for the full academic year and the expected salary will be from GBP65-GBP80 per day. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to expand their classroom experience prior to undertaking their teaching training and becoming a fully qualified classroom teacher by working as a Behaviour Support Worker for those students who need help the most.

Relevant previous experience would include youth work, support work, mental health work and SEN in sport.
