Salary: GBP30,000 per annum rising to GBP34,000 after 18 months

37 hours per week

Location: Wolverhampton with the opportunity to travel

Contract Length: Initial 3 year fixed term contract

What does taking part in the Collins Aerospace Project Management Graduate Programme involve?

Aimed at highly motivated and ambitious individuals eager to be a part of a world leader within the aerospace and defence industry, this scheme is geared towards supporting the accelerated career development of graduates who wish to play an instrumental role in leading the development and integration of the next generation of civil and military aircraft. The business comprises a significant quantity of highly technical engineering/manufacturing projects and programmes the effective leadership of which will be pivotal to our continued business success. We are looking to recruit a small number of high calibre graduates who can support Collins with the effective planning and execution of these activities right across the lifecycle. We believe in the power of intelligence and partnership to guide us into the next era of flight, making the skies and spaces we touch smarter and safer than ever.

The scheme will provide you with opportunities to progress your career into Project / Program Management.

Interested? To give you the exposure to a variety of roles within different life cycles of products within the actuation business - and discover exactly what suits you and your talents - you'll rotate through core areas of the Collins Management System Lifecycle such as:

Produce to Deliver - Current Products being produced
Pursuit to Capture - Managing bids to win new products
Service & Support - Products that sit within the Aftermarket
Design & Development - New Product Development and Integration
Development and training to build your career

You will participate in a comprehensive personal development process across the three years. And if that is not enough, you will be given an opportunity to commence the journey towards becoming a Project Professional (PPQ).

By the end of the programme, having completed your Graduate Rotation and Functional training, you will have gained an effective understanding of Collins Aerospace's business strategies and processes and developed the skills, knowledge and experience to help us to continue to redefine Aerospace.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for the best graduates who have the following attributes:

Graduates in any related discipline who have completed their first degree with a minimum of a 2:1 (or predicted)
Internationally minded - we are a global business so you'll need a global outlook
Analytical thinkers - you'll be handling lots of information and data and you'll need to make sense of it

Fluency in English.

Starting salary of GBP30,000
