What will the apprentice be doing?

Learn to take responsibility for more technical elements of cuisine.

Help analyse food costs and determine most cost-effective recipes while maintaining quality.

Train to maintain food production records, reports, and department files as required.

Ensure quality control measures and hygiene systems are achieved at all times.

Develop skills to provide training to junior kitchen staff.

Work with Head Chef and Senior Sous in development of menus.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Senior Culinary Chef - Level 4

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Work with senior management team, and progress in house.

NVQ or SVQ Level 2 or equivalent Professional Cookery (Grade B) Desired

Things to consider

We are predominantly based in Cooling, which a rural village with no public transport links. We do have have 2 other venues, but their are limited apprenticeship roles at these venues.
