Purpose of Role:
  • Train to become a qualified and experience work coach
  • Responsible for the training, coaching and assessment of all elements within the Apprenticeship Standard
  • Responsible for a caseload of learners, as agreed with Line Manager / Internal Quality Assurer / Quality Manager, in line with company policies
  • To generate business opportunities by supporting employers and learners, generating new business and providing outstanding information, advice and guidance
  • To set challenging goals and encourage all learners to meet their potential whilst promoting wellbeing

Daily duties will include and are not limited to:
  • To work to agreed KPIs
  • To be responsible for diary and time management
  • Motivating learners through outstanding teaching and coaching
  • Coaching and supporting employers to provide opportunities for learning and development of their learners
  • To engage with employers to maintain current partnerships and secure repeat business
  • Being aware of new business opportunities, planning out enrolments and future visits to new learners
  • Provide continuing support to the learners on programme
  • Undertake regular progression reviews which engage both learner and employer, suggesting areas for development
  • Identifying units for learners that will incorporate their daily duties within the work place and putting in an action plan for employer and tutor feedback
  • Complete all auditable documentation timely and accurately
  • Support learners and employers with succession planning and employment skills
  • Undertake CPD activities to ensure high levels of current, relevant industry knowledge and competency
  • To deliver online and classroom-based workshops

  • Have worked in an accountancy role for at least 1 year
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of different people

  • Ability to deliver the training, coursework and workshops competently and confidently.
  • Organised to manage changing priorities and workloads
  • Able to adapt yourself to work with different people and personalities
  • Able to speak knowledgeably and professionally to apprentices and their employers
  • Able to be confident in yourself whilst showing humility to others
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and to prioritise own workload
  • Ability to balance conflicting demands and tight deadlines
  • Ability to network effectively and develop appropriate contacts
  • Flexible with location of work due to the area they will cover

Desired qualifications

  • Hold a level 3 or level 4 accountancy qualification such as AAT
  • English, Maths and ICT Functional Skills at Level 2 or Higher
