Due to a rapid expansion of our Endoscopy Services in Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to our nursing teams based across St James, Leeds General Infirmary and Wharfedale General Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our innovative and forward thinking teams to deliver the highest standards of care for both outpatients and inpatients.

Endoscopy at LTHT is evolving and expanding to provide the most up to date advanced technologies, including Bowel Cancer Screening, ERCP, Endoscopic ultrasound, ESD and capsule endoscopy and many other gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures.

We have one of the largest teams of Nurse Endoscopists in the UK, all working in both the upper and lower gastroenterology and endoscopy patient pathways providing triage, clinical advice and nurse led clinics as well as dedicated endoscopy lists.

The nursing teams support and deliver a 24 hour acute GI bleed service, working in collaboration with the gastroenterology/surgical clinical team, to deliver lifesaving emergency treatments.

You will need to have completed a Level 5 Foundation degree level specific to nursing associate practice. If completed the Nursing Associate apprenticeship must have completed and passed the End Point Assessment and be registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.

For all new starters to the Trust we have an award winning, structured Introduction to Professional Practice (IPP) Induction programme to prepare you for working at LTHT.

Trainee Nursing Associates who are expected to graduate within the next nine months are welcome to apply.

We are inviting you to attend our Virtual recruitment days to find out more about what we can offer.

To find out more please contact:

You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment. DBS checks for volunteers are free.
