About the apprenticeship

Duties

We don't expect any experience in any of the above. What's most important for us is your attitude toward trying new things and having the confidence and energy to learn and develop. We see this as a broad but gradual learning experience.
Our focus is providing analysis and advice, supporting clients' digital delivery and building their capability through training, coaching.
As a company, we're constantly trying new things, new ideas and ways of working and would welcome someone who can contribute to all aspects of our work.
Each day at Perago is a little different. Still, each allows learning something new, which will be your main focus - discovering the Perago Way. We support our clients by helping them think about how they do things and make them better. You'll get involved in research, communications, marketing, social media and projects. As well as helping the team support our clients, you'll also get involved in our accounts, emails, updating our records and keeping our website up to date. You'll gain experience in all aspects of business administration and use new tools to help map out ideas and discussions in various meetings.

Additional information

This role will work across our business, supporting the day to day running of Perago and working with our clients.

We don't have a team office, so you'll mainly be working from home. We'll provide all the equipment you need and have optional but regularly get together days to make sure we have face to face team contact - you'll, of course, be welcome.

As our Perago apprentice, you won't be expected to know how to do that straight away - but if you're interested, you'll pick it up soon enough.

We're encouraging, trusting and will support you in all aspects of our work, from meeting face to face with clients, supporting with research or working on communications. You'll also have the opportunity to come up with ideas of how to make things better and general office duties and administration.

You won't be alone either. You'll be supported by each member of the broader team; experts in user-centred design, project management, technology and communications. There's an excellent opportunity to learn and take the time to figure out what aspect of the company most interests you.

Skills

About you… We're looking for someone to join our team that is excited to learn, interested in technology, but more importantly, enjoys seeing their effort make a difference. As part of a small team, you'll always be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.

We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences. We use Microsoft Office for most of our work, so having a basic understanding of this would be an advantage, but don't let it put you off if you don't.

As a small company, we look out for each other, put each other first, and expect the same from you - it really helps with the culture we have here at Perago.
