DENSO Marston based in West Yorkshire have a fantastic opportunity for talented and ambitious graduates to join the business. As part of the Supply Chain team reporting to the Logistics Manager, we have created a new role to link production planning to the manufacturing process. Providing the successful candidate, a great opportunity to play a key role ensuring the company meets the customer needs whilst gaining experience and learning how a complex cellular manufacturing process operates from ordering of components through the manufacturing process to customer fulfilment. The successful candidate will support the Supply Chain Improvement Strategy whilst covering the day-to-day responsibilities of a busy manufacturing environment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires an individual who can quickly grasp and communicate effectively across different disciplines with a combination of excellent problem-solving, time-management and analytical skills.

Working Hours/Benefits
Mon-Thurs 07.30am - 4pm
Fri - 7.30am- 12.30pm

Key Responsibilities

To monitor, progress and report material movement within the production environment to ensure customer schedules are adhered to.
To provide the key to linking between Production Planning & Manufacturing.
Ensure that both external & internal components/assemblies are available prior to the start of production.
Identify and communicate timely bottlenecks/issues in the process that prevents the plan being met.
To understand, highlight and develop workload/capacity in line with agreed quantities and business priorities.
Monitor and report on progress of customer priorities and attainment of daily plans.
Identify areas of improvement.
Using your analytical skills provide data to support identification of priority actions to ensure customer delivery performance is maintainedEssential Experience

Qualifications
Degree in an Engineering, Logistics or manufacturing discipline
