Purchasing & ContractsAnalysis Apprentice

**18 month fixed term apprenticeship**

Salary: £4.30 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Base: The National Training Academy, Brierley Hill, DY5 1LQ

An exciting opportunity has become available for an apprentice to join our well established Purchasing & Contracts Team.

The successful applicant will work within the Purchasing & Contracts Department, which includes the Stores & Distribution function, to carry out delegated activities.

Applicants will need to have an interest in supply chain and procurement, in particular this analytical discipline to extract the require data and formulate the reports needed for the Purchasing & Contracts team and the wider organisation when required. You will need to have a good knowledge of maths and an initial insight into data analysis.

The role will involve the analysis of data within the Purchasing & Contracts and Store & Distribution functions of the Trust, including financial information, stock analysis, usage of goods and services to provide statistical data in a usable format. This will be performed using existing Trust IT systems and appropriate software tools and liaising with internal and external colleagues to collect the relevant data.

Supervision and support will be provided or available during tasks; successful completion will be dependent on meeting objectives set throughout the year.

This will enable the apprentice to work within the organisation to gain confidence, experience and build a portfolio of evidence for the apprenticeship accreditation.

The apprenticeship will be undertaken in collaboration with an approved training provider to achieve Procurement & Supply Assistant Level 3 Standard Apprenticeship

    Where a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is required for the post, applicants are required to cover the cost of the check. The cost (£45 for an enhanced check or £28 for a standard or basic check) is payable to our online provider at the time that the DBS application is submitted.
