About the Role

An exciting opportunity to share our clients journey as either a graduate or technician structural engineer and help them to achieve their ambitions to deliver an exceptional service that creates sustainable and successful development for our existing and growing client base.

You will be working with an established team to produce designs, calculations and drawings to accompany planning applications and/or for construction in all major sectors in particular residential, retail, industrial and commercial developments.

You will report to the Senior Engineer and will be expected to actively contribute to several work sectors, projects and client accounts at any given time.

You will be creating and issuing drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations in accordance with the appropriate design standards

What's On Offer?

Negotiable basic starting salary, likely to be within the range of GBP25,000 - GBP28,000

The Successful Candidate

- HNC in Civil Engineering or a degree qualification in a related subject

- A good understanding of highway design principles using Manual for Streets, DMRB, and Local Authority highway design standards.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD in a transport planning and /or highway design environment is essential.

- To be able to prepare highway drawings and calculations for both private and adoptable arrangements applying the principles, design codes and standards set out in DMRB, Manual for Streets and Local Authority Design Guides.
