We would love to hear from you if you are interested in this clinical role:
  • Registered Healthcare Professional
  • Fixed term contract until December 2021 with the possibility of an extension
  • Salary - NHS AfC Band 5 - £25,655 - £31,534 (depending on experience) per annum, pro rata
  • 8.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday (part time hours considered but on a full day basis)

Please see below a summary of some of the duties you will be carrying out as part of the Children School Aged Immunisation Service:
  • Complete training as required
  • Clinical assessment pre-vaccination
  • Offer specialist advice
  • Draw up the vaccines (where appropriate)/vaccinate
  • Observe patient post-vaccination and manage adverse reactions response

Requirements:
  • Available for work immediately
  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
  • Registered Health Care Professional e.g. NMC for nurses, GPhC for pharmacists etc.
  • Current immunisation training / update or willingness to undertake.
  • Being able to drive with access to a car for work is essential as you will be required to travel to different schools every day
