Hood Hub & Fit testing Team Lead

Full time: 37.5 hoursFixed Term

An opportunity has arisen for a a member of staff who is interested in Fit Testing and supporting the management of PPE across the trust to join the team as the Lead for a initial period of 7 months as a secondment.

You will be responsible for the daily function of the Hood Hub, ensuring testing is available for staff, the management of resources and maintaining the current supply of equipment.

You will manage the team allocated on a rota basis ensuring that records are kept of staff tested, plus liaising with procurement, health & safety and infection control regarding changes in guidance and supplies are managed effectively.

For part time roles you will receive a pro rata'd (proportional) salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operate a 24 hour 365 day a year service and all nursing, clinical and operational roles will require staff to work 24/7 shifts (if required) unless you are specifically advised otherwise as part of the recruitment process.
