A national electrical business is looking for a confident and proactive graduate who can take on the roles of Key Account Manager and Satellite Branch Manager at their successful operation in Wimbledon. This is a varied role where you will split your time between building strong relationships with key B2B customers across London and looking after the daily operations of the small Wimbledon site.

The Opportunity

The company you'll be working for prides itself on being amongst the UK's leading suppliers of electrical test equipment and associated services. They provide a comprehensive range of quality branded products, in addition to calibration/ repair services and key equipment training courses. They are also part of an impressive GBP900 million turnover group who already employ over 2,000 people across the UK.

Working both remotely and on-site, your role responsibilities as a Key Account Manager / Satellite Branch Manager would include:

Building strong relationships and developing existing business with key customers across London
Prospecting new business opportunities
Acting as a point of contact for and looking after the day-to-day operations of the Wimbledon site
Managing a team of 2-3 staff
Being mentored by the business' General Manager (who's based in Norwich) and working closely with the Chief Operating Officer of the divisionThe business also has future plans to open another satellite branch on the other side of London so there's opportunity in this role to be involved in this process and the management of the new branch.


As a Key Account Manager / Satellite Branch Manager, you will receive:

A starting salary between GBP27,000 - GBP30,000

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1 year + experience working in a sales environment (preferably B2B)
Preferably some experience working in a distribution and/or trade environment
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
An undergraduate degree
