About Our Client
Our client is trading as Domino's pizza and has built a portfolio of multiple properties across Birmingham, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Manchester, Somerset, Dyfed - Wales, Rothesay - Scotland and Sunderland.
They are currently seeking an Apprentice to join their Finance team in Luton.
About the Opportunity
This Apprenticeship will enable you to develop a range of financial and administrative skills. You will provide a range of financial support duties including payroll, transactional analysis, dealing with enquiries from employees, financial data processing and other tasks related to the finance function in an SME.
You will be required to develop your organisational and communication skills and your use of Information Technology (Microsoft Office). You will also learn how to use other in-house computer packages, such as Sage50 Accounts & Payroll, Pulse and DomFD.
The Finance Apprentice will mainly be responsible for:
Providing administrative and clerical support to the Sales, Purchase & Payroll Teams by collating information supplied by internal and external stakeholders.
Answering the telephone, monitoring the central mailbox and dealing with queries/requests and detailed messages for team members.
Supporting the completion of payroll run by liaising with other payroll team members.
Providing admin & bookkeeping practice support to the Sale, Purchase & Payroll ledgers, by compiling monthly deadlines, liaising with other Finance teams on completion of key tasks and providing daily updates.
Assisting in preparation and posting of routine fortnightly runs to the Finance ledger, obtaining appropriate supporting information from external and internal stakeholders as required.
Assisting in the preparation and updating of the month end spreadsheets used for reporting purposes.
Any other duties as directed by the Head of Finance & Payroll Manager.
42.5 hours a week contract
4 days working and 1 day for studying
Starting time 9am to 6pm - half hour lunch
Apprentice salary: GBP182.75 per week - pay will be reviewed within 6 months as apprentice shows good progress in work and course.
Fortnightly payroll: Pay based on minimum 42.5 hours contract (including 20% (8.5 hours) for course studies)
This Apprenticeship offers chances of further growth in the Finance Department and more senior positions (e.g.: Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant, or/& Team leader (subject to successful completion of apprenticeship & course assigned).
Training to be Provided
Level 2 Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard
A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, topics covered include:

Good verbal and written communication
MS Office package - strong excel knowledge, Word, and Outlook basic knowledge
