What will the apprentice be doing?

As part of this job, you will be supporting all members of the legal team (including the General Counsel) on all aspects of their work. During the early stages of your apprenticeship, common tasks are likely to include:
• attending meetings on high-profile reforms and taking notes
• supporting members of the legal team with administrative tasks
• keeping up-to-date with recent legal updates and sharing this with the team
• conducting legal research.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

For this apprenticeship, we have partnered with the University of Law. Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship, one day a week will be dedicated to learning, training and independent study. You will learn about core areas of law (such as contract law and public law) and as well as key legal skills, like research, legal writing and client service. This study will allow you to gain an undergraduate law degree (LLB Honours) and sit the Solicitors Qualifying Examination at the end of the apprenticeship.
