Support Services Manager, Facilities

The Estates and Facilities Department are looking for a motivated, experienced manager to lead a Domestic and Portering team at Warrington and Halton Hospitals.

The Trust is seeking to recruit a Support Services Manager with a track record in delivering high quality facilities services to patients, staff and visitors. You will ensure at all times, high quality, safe and cost effective services are attained.

We are looking for a manager with excellent communication skills, knowledge in CQC and PLACE requirements and a good knowledge of financial management.

You will be responsible for managing the Domestic and Portering team at Halton Hospital and supporting the Facilities manager with any other operational issues.

The postholder will complete a level five Operations Manager apprenticeship and will develop the skills and knowledge required. The postholder will be allocated time to achieve the award and will be expected to attend study sessions with a local training provider.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an Estates and Facilities team which supports the clinical teams to provide high quality patient care and experience.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months' salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
