The Sussex Health and Care Partnership brings together the organisations involved in the planning and provision of health and care services across the region. This includes CCGs, acute hospital trusts, mental health, community services and local authorities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Primary Care Workforce Tutor teams in Sussex. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for education and developing staff. The successful candidate will be a highly dynamic and driven individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.

The post holder will be responsible for managing high-quality career progression and apprenticeship function across the Sussex Training Hub footprint. Reporting to the Training Hub Board, the post holder will provide expertise to facilitate the development, delivery and monitoring of Training Hubs apprenticeship programmes, including the management of the Apprenticeship Levy, procurement, quality processes and collaborative activity with healthcare partners across the Sussex Region.

This post will be based with the East Sussex Training Hub Team but will work with the Sussex wide team delivering on objectives Sussex wide.

Primary Care and Community Directorate

The overall vision for primary and community care in Sussex focusses on the provision of locally driven integrated primary, community and social care that aims to improve population health and health outcomes, whilst reducing avoidable illness, hospital admission and care expenditure.

Sussex CCGs are committed to supporting its member practices to deliver consistent, accessible integrated care, delivered close to patients' homes, by highly motivated primary healthcare teams.

The STP and Sussex CCGs are also committed to the development and maturity of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to enable and prepare them to work with local providers in an Integrated Care Partnership (ICPs) as part of the overall Integrated Care System. Key to the success of ICPs and integrated working is resilient general practice and the formation of PCNs.
