Our ED and Acute Medicine has a fantastic opportunity for RCEM credentialedACP (Advanced Clinical Practitioner) or equivalent for Acute Medicine.

If you are:
  • An ACP working in urgent or emergency department settings or acute medicine.
  • RCEM Accredited ED ACP
  • Previous knowledge and skills as an AMU ACP
  • Experienced in managing a wide range of patients conditions presenting with minor or major illness in an acute front door setting.
  • Keen to develop your scope of practice and depth of knowledge and skills
  • Looking to join a forward thinking Urgent care team within Medical Division in an outstanding Trust.
  • Want to be part of an exceptional ED and Acute Medicine multidisciplinary teams

Located in the heart of the vibrant city of Bristol, you will get to work in the gateway to the glorious South West. The post also attracts protected CPD/SPA time each month, whatever your interests we can support you in developing them: clinical research, patient safety, ultrasound, and education for example. We are an award winning team, with a strong culture of patient safety, innovation, education and research in emergency care.

The ACP team is supported by a triumvirate approach: a professional lead (Clinical supervisor), medical lead (EM or AMU consultant) and a managerial lead (deputy head of nursing).

The ED and AMU has strong links with the local university and ACP apprenticeship master's programme.
