Have you recently graduated and unsure what to do next? Are you considering a career in education but would like some experience? Hays Education have created an online Cover Supervisor training program
and are partnering with local secondary schools from September. Hays are a market leader in the North West and have a number of exclusive partnerships with secondary schools across Wigan and the surrounding area's including all WN postcodes, Chorley, Ormskirk, Burscough, Atherton, Tyldesley and Lowton.
Your new role
Hays Education are providing free virtual Cover Supervisor training for graduates of all subjects who are either - interested in a career in education and would like experience to support their application or who are considering career options and would like to earn some money along the way.
Cover Supervisors do not have to be qualified teachers and deliver pre-set work or activities to classes across the school, manage behaviour and ensure the work set is completed. Work is flexible with the option to work full time or part time.
What you'll need to succeed
The training course includes videos from a Headteacher and a Cover Supervisor, training modules on behaviour management, working with students with SEN, Safeguarding & Child Protection.
Upon completion of the online training courses, we will place you into a local partner school to shadow a Cover Supervisor for the day and you will then be available to work as a Cover supervisor for Hays Education.
