About the team:

The Social Care Support Team delivers personal care and support to service users in accordance with their personalised support/ Reablement plans, empowers adults to enhance their quality of life, maximise potential and to continue to develop independence skills within Littlehey Prison.

The team works closely with health and social care professionals, who are involved in the care planning and delivery of Reablement care.

The team is based in HMP Littlehey in Perry. The post will require flexible working in pairs, meaning this could include evening and weekend shifts. Reablement operate a 365 day service.

For this Social Care Support Worker role although desirable, you don't need any qualifications in Health and Social Care, just the right attitudes and values to work in a care setting.

However, you will be eager to develop your knowledge of social care and have a willingness to work towards NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.

We provide full training, so no qualifications are required, and the role has a competitive salary of £18,933 - £19,698, equivalent to an hourly rate of £9.81 - £10.21 and with enhanced pay rates for evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

• Enhanced pay rates for weekends, evenings (10pm- 8am) and bank holidays up to double time.
