We are looking for two experienced and innovative leadership development professionals who can work both independently and across collaborative partnerships in order to support and expand the delivery of the Leadership Development Strategy.

You will be an individual who has a proven track record in supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of Leadership Development programmes. The ability to think and act strategically and foster strong collaborative relationships across the organization is key. Having a knowledge of apprenticeships, marking and verification would be an advantage.

The role provides a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to workforce development through involvement in a number of key development areas including leadership skills, coaching, talent management, and quality improvement. One of our strategic workforce aims is to be the centre for educational excellence, locally and further afield and you will take a role supporting and leading varying development initiatives, projects and programmes.

Key post holder responsibilities will include:
  • Providing a range of high quality and innovative training / specialist education that is responsive to the changing learning needs identified at all levels
  • Facilitating the development of staff in effective leadership skills in line with the Trust Workforce & Leadership Strategy and National initiatives.
  • To work closely with and support key staff members across Workforce Development in relation to the Trust's internal Leadership and Talent Management Strategy
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the research and delivery of leadership development
  • To provide tutor / moderator support to ensure that all accredited education and training programmes meet awarding body / examiner / inspectorate requirements
  • To proactively provide information, advice and guidance to Trust staff to ensure that the education needs of an inter-professional organisation are met effectively at departmental and learner level.

The role requires highly effective communication and planning skills and the ability to work with individuals and teams to facilitate training that is responsive to the changing needs of a complex inter-professional system wide workforce. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leadership development and providing a first class learning environment, have a previous track record in supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of leadership development interventions to a diverse range of learners.
