Apprentice - Staff Engagement & Wellbeing Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Staff Engagement & Wellbeing Team at Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals.

As an Apprentice at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the postholder will complete a level three Events Assistant apprenticeship and will develop the skills and knowledge whilst working as part of the team to support our workforce. The postholder will be allocated time to achieve the award and will be expected to attend study sessions with a local training provider.

The role is extremely varied and requires the ability to deal with a wide range of duties. The successful candidate will join an experienced team who support the Wellbeing Agenda throughout the organisation.

The role requires good people skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar, good keyboard skills and a polite telephone manner. Applicants should also evidence the ability to be calm under pressure and a willingness to undertake and learn new tasks. A range of communication skills, verbal and written, are essential for this role as are very good organisational skills.

Depending on the classification of the post, in-line with DBS guidelines, a Standard or Enhanced disclosure will be required which may include a check of the 'Vulnerable Adults List', the 'Children's List' and/or the Independent Safeguarding Authorities (ISA's) barred lists.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months' salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
