Clerical Assistant

18.75 hours per week

Fixed term for 18 months

Salary Range 2 £16,510 (under 23)/£17,597 (over 23) pro rata per annum fixed salary point

Care Plus Group Employability Service have two strands of delivery, Employability and Supported Employment. Both strands support the worklessness agenda of North East Lincolnshire, delivering a holistic approach to supporting unemployed people on a pathway to sustainable employment. They deliver various employability initiatives including voluntary work based learning, pre apprenticeships, apprenticeships and intermediate labour market opportunities. They aim to empower local people to become socially included within their communities, whilst also breaking down barriers to employment.

For this role it is essential that you:
  • Have Level 2 or equivalent qualification in computer applications.
  • Recent experience of working in an office/reception (within the last year).
  • Experience of working with the public (both face to face and on the telephone).
  • Competent in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook & Excel.
  • Have effective customer care skills.

Please note that any offer of a post is subject to pre-employment screening. The offer will also be provisional upon receipt of a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, of which the successful candidate will be responsible for payment.

With effect from the 11th November 2021 new government regulations enforce that all staff working within or entering a care home setting will have to demonstrate that they have received two doses of a Covid vaccine unless they have a medical exemption.

Therefore there will be a requirement that all applicants working in or entering these settings will be required to provide evidence of their Covid vaccination status/confirmation they will be having the vaccine.

It is also anticipated that this expectation will become mandated for all NHS staff.

CPG are pleased that we are already in a strong position as 95% of our staff are already vaccinated.
