We have a unique opportunity for a talented individual to become a Finance Apprentice within an exciting growth business - this is a key role in our finance team and will give excellent finance and accounting experience alongside a CIMA study package. Here at PMC, we are passionate about developing our employees and offer a friendly, supportive environment."

To be an integral part of the Finance team, assisting in all finance areas to ensure we are able provide accurate finance and accounting information to the business in a timely manner assisting PMC in achieving its goals. In the longer term this apprenticeship will provide a strong platform for a senior position in finance for the right candidate.

List of initial duties included, but not limited to:
  • Financial Analysis
  • Management Reporting
  • Product & Customer level insight
  • Process & Control improvements
  • Business Intelligence
  • Reconciliations
  • Credit Control/invoicing
  • Purchase control/invoicing
  • Data Collection and analysis
  • Macro environment analysis
  • Cash book
  • Adhoc admin and finance work
  • Inclusion in month end reporting and Board pack preparation

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Beginner/Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience of Google sheets or accounting software/systems would be an advantage. (e.g. Sage, Xero) however not essential
