An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Finance Assistant Apprenticeship (Level 2) to provide a professional financial accounting service supporting the Head of Financial Accounting in all aspects of finance.

This apprenticeship opportunity will provide a valuable work experience in all areas of finance. With ongoing supervision, the apprentice will provide day to day support and assistance in all work carried out by the finance department. The apprenticeship will be undertaken in collaboration with an approved training provider to achieve Finance Assistant Level 2 Standard Apprenticeship.

You will be employed on a 18 month fixed term training contract of 37.5 hours per week. You will be given time during your working hours for study towards the apprenticeship to attend training sessions on the underpinning knowledge of procedures and policies that impact on the role.

You may be required to complete a DBS clearance check if offered a position with EMAS. If you are not part of the update service, you will be liable for the payment and this will be deducted from your first months' salary. The current cost of an enhanced DBS check is £44.20.
