JAG ACCREDITED ENDOSCOPY UNIT

STAFF NURSE

BAND 5

Our JAG accredited department offers a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ranging from Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, PEG insertion and ERCP and EUS, pH Manometry, Capsule Endoscopy and Breath Tests. We also perform non GI procedures like Bronchoscopy, EBUS and Pleural Tap. The unit is open 08:00- 19:00 Monday - Saturday and we provide an Out of Hours on call service at weekends and Bank Holidays.

We are looking for enthusiastic, independent and committed nurses and support workers to join our highly motivated team. We offer a supportive, friendly, and caring environment and an abundance of development opportunities from nursing apprenticeships through to practice development for experienced nurses. As part of your development, you will have the opportunity to participate in the following services:

    • Out of hours rota for Gastrointestinal bleed
    • Nurse Consent
    • Pre Assessment
    • Breath Test clinics

Where to find us:

Our main sites are Ashford Hospital, TW15 3AA near to Heathrow Airport and St Peter's Hospital, KT16 0RQ which is close to junction 11, M25. We also operate services at Woking Bradley Unit and Milford Hospital. A free shuttle bus service operates between Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals.
