What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties may include, but are not limited to -
Assisting the project management team in the running of a construction site
Conducting site inspections with the site manager
Working with estimators and surveyors
Attending meetings with the project manager, site manager and other external parties
Maintaining an up to date and accurate site diary
Initiate work permits
Help maintain a safe and tidy site and implement safe systems after appropriate training / guidance
Quality Assurance records
Developing management skills
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful applicant will be enrolled at your nearest training provider on the following Apprenticeship Standard.
The training is delivered on day release.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you have achieved this apprenticeship standard you could progress on to a higher level apprenticeship standard or continue in to full time employment
