We are recruiting Band 5 Bank Staff to join our innovative supportive and growing team.

The Role

The full Job and person specifications are attached to this advert, but key elements for the role include:
  • Provide effective caseload management for identified caseloads
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis and intervention approaches for children with speech, language and communication needs.
  • Work in collaboration with health and education colleagues to support children's needs

You will need to demonstrate knowledge and application of evidence based practice and be able to prioritise caseloads using your acquired clinical and assessment skills.

It is a statutory requirement for roles that involve work in care homes that staff are up to date with their Covid vaccination status to be able to work in that environment, unless the person has a valid medical exemption. Where a role requires this, they will need to demonstrate that they meet this requirement during the recruitment process.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.

We will consider requests to work alternative hours or vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

For all substantive roles the appointment of new staff (excluding medical staff) is subject to a 6 month probationary period (see Probation Policy).
