An exciting opportunity has become available in the commercial team responsible for processing customer orders. This is a growing team and an exciting time to join the business. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders on an inhouse system - checking the picks and despatches are correct
  • Answering the telephone in a polite and professional manner.
  • General administration tasks - picking up and responding to emails, letter writing, some spreadsheet work
  • Taking part numbers and entering them into the system
  • As part of the apprenticeship there will be an opportunity to undertake a project within the business.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail is key when entering orders. Good written and verbal communication is required with a minimum of 4 (C) grade in Maths and English as essential. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with at least one A level.

The role will be alongside an existing administrator in a growing department and full training will be given. There will be opportunities for progression and development in the role and company.

The role will be supported by apprenticeship training Business Administration level 3 and the apprentice will be allocated 20% off the job training time
