All successfully appointed staff will be assigned to the nearest base to their home location within the SCW Estate unless there is a justifiable business case for basing staff at another site (e.g. customer site). SCW staff that are in posts considered to be agile will not be expected to attend office space for general working but will be required on occasions to attend face to face meetings and collaborative working sessions that may require travel to their home base or other locations across the estate or customer sites.

As Apprenticeship Manager you will leadthe mobilisation anddelivery of a variety of apprenticeships at varying levels across SCW to support workforce development plans and initiatives within the scope of the apprenticeship levy. We are excited to the opportunities presented to develop our existing staff and for recruitment into SCW. We anticipate programmes ranging from data analysts to leadership; from speciality specific to coaching and mentoring.

This is a new job and your role will be to maximise the potential of apprenticeships as part of our talent development and talent pipeline. The post holder will be responsible for the management of the apprenticeship levy and the associated financial and monitoring requirements as well as ensuring that the organisation complies with the national apprenticeship rules and guidelines.

The successful candidate will need an understanding of apprenticeship schemes and their role and contribution to talent development. .
