What will the apprentice be doing?
Otolo want to help everyone passionate about hospitality to reach their potential, so we're creating a global library of video and audio content to inspire, educate and support all areas of the industry - with industry leaders sharing their experience.
You'll help to plan and develop this content, produce in weekly events, and edit for the media library, social media and a range of channels. You'll be working remotely or with the team and build up some great video and podcast experience.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
We are flexible about the study that you undertake, if you have a suitable course in mind, but we would expect it broadly to be in the field of Marketing, Content, Video or Film Production, between levels 4 and 7.
The key thing is you are able to learn the skills of video and sound editing to help us create and deliver high-quality content, remotely.
We currently expect it'll be one day a week at their campus or studying remotely, alongside 4 days a week working at Otolo.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You'll have invaluable experience building the brand and marketing team of a tech start-up - not only great for your functional expertise but great to see the overall business come together. We hope you stay with us and help the business grow, or move on to another start-up or a larger corporate environment, marketing in tech, hospitality or learning and development.
You can move into roles in video production, events, marketing or much more!
