Commercial Graduate Programme Role:

The Graduate Commercial Scheme is structured to provide you with a key understanding of all the elements, that give you the best opportunity to succeed and progress within the role!

During your placement you will rotate across the below three functions to develop the relevant commercial, sales and product knowledge to be successful within the programme:

Warehouse/Distribution:

Starting your placement here, this is key for developing product knowledge and gaining that initial industry experience. Working closely with other team members, this part of your placement is the foundation of your knowledge to understand the products, common orders, margin opportunities and how sales can be maximised.

Counter/Sales:

Within this part of your placement you will become an expert on the counter, demonstrating strong selling skills. Individual sales performance, driving new business opportunities and maximising customer spend are all key measures!

Management Development:

Start to develop the leadership skills within the role, whilst continuing to generate new business opportunities. This is a key rotation to demonstrate commercial awareness and develop towards becoming a Manager.

Graduate Commercial Scheme Requirements:

Educated to degree level
Full UK driving license
Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed in your career
Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to take responsibility and make decisions
You'll have confidence, initiative and a willingness to learn
A team player, who can also work independently
