Job Title: Graduate Trainee Management Consultant

Location: Theale, Reading

Salary: GBP25-27k (after 6 months 31-35k)

Hours: Full time - Mon to Thurs 8.30am - 5.30pm Fri - 8.30am - 5pm

My client a consultancy that works with some of the largest companies in the UK and globally have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Management Consultant to join their team. As part of the Trainee Management Consultant programme, you will develop the operational consulting skills necessary to fast track your career as a Management Consultant.

Over 12 months you will receive hands-on training and be working towards becoming one of their specialist consultants. You will be able to think critically, write persuasively and present charismatically

Your Journey:

In the first part of the role you will be predominantly phone based, contacting FTSE100/Fortune 500 companies and selling services to decision-makers
Developing and understanding the company and building an understanding of the industries that you work with increasing your communication skills and confidence
After 6 months you will start the transition to one of the consultancy practises, attending sites and working as a team to help deliver successful projects.Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

Answering all incoming and outgoing calls to clients
Meeting and liaising with Consultants and Project Managers, delivering projects for the clients across a range of various industries
Selling the companies services to decision-makers and industry-leading companies
Writing white papers, blogs and presenting relevant presentations
Spending time out on the field as well as in the office

A graduate with a 2:1 degree in any subject
Strong A-Levels in subjects such as Science, Maths, Geography
Full UK driving license and access to a car
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Good Analytical skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Confident team players as well as able to carry out projects independently
Creative thinkers who thrive in seeking solutions to complex business challenges
