They currently require a graduate who has completed an Electronic oriented degree, to join their Application Engineering group in the UK. Within this team you would be trained into a specialist role focused on supporting their customers with FPGA technology. You won't be expected to be an expert in FPGA's but should have studied them during your degree and have a strong interest in developing your knowledge of them.
The Graduate Electronics Engineer - FPGA will specialise in supporting / working with clients on very technical aspects of their products.
You would work closely with highly experienced Application Engineers and receive lots of classroom-based training as well as on the job/at your desk training and support.

The Electronics Engineer will be the primary technical liaison with the customer/partner during the development phase and is crucial to their long-term success. Additional responsibilities include application note creation, initial hardware, and system level design reviews as well as preparation and delivery of technical training material.
This is a home-based role with travel to customer sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
In this Graduate Electronics Engineer - FPGA role your responsibilities will include:
*Assists with qualified customer opportunities relating to high technology product offerings.
*Utilises Account Manager account qualification information and coordinates customer needs definition.
*Influence's product selection through demonstration/presentation, both on-site and remote, of hi-tech products and/or tools.
*Facilitates the technical closure of design win opportunities.
*Completes technical action items assigned through own work or utilizing other resources.
*Compares and contrasts technologies and components to influence selection process.
*Creates demand by developing product awareness material, i.e. Selection guides, associative sales guides, presentations, application to technology mapping, awareness flyers, etc.
*Creates specialized technical materials i.e. White papers on applications, presentations, application notes etc. To influence design and create demand.
Skills/Knowledge of the Graduate Electronics Engineer - FPGA will have:
*In depth technical knowledge of FPGA's and relevant industry experience including embedded hardware development.
*Familiar with embedded systems requirements, hardware design, and software architecture, RTOS experience is a plus
*Proven problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
