About us

We are excited to announce that we are seeking two individuals to undertake Level 3 in Electrical Electronic Product Service and Installation Apprenticeship. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business who have more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. You will be working very closely alongside an experienced engineer, who will be on hand to assist you throughout your Apprenticeship, whilst you get to know the several manufacturers, letting agents and insurance companies we work with to deliver a service beyond their expectations.

Customer service is at the forefront of what we offer and our reputation with our service partners is proof of that. In addition we are proud to be associated with Whitegoods Trades Association.

The role

This will involve working in domestic premises across West, South and parts of North Yorkshire, as well as in our workshop repairing white good appliances, such as cookers; dishwashers; washing machines; tumble driers; fridges and freezers, etc.

By undertaking this apprenticeship you will be able to conduct:

  • Day to day repair (occasional install) of a variety of appliances
  • Fault diagnosis, testing and repair of domestic home appliances
  • Full technical backup support and training
  • Customer visits in their homes and carry out high quality repairs in a professional and courteous manner, remembering that you are representing the company at all times
  • Ability to manage own workload and carry out repairs in accordance with relevant company instructions

Ideal Apprentice/Person Specifications

  • No previous experience is needed, however having the right attitude to learn and the desire to have a long-term career is essential
  • Must be IT literate and be able to use an i-pad to access and evidence the completion of jobs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Methodical in approach with strong attention to detail
  • Must hold a valid full UK driving licence
  • Ability to undergo residential training in Swansea, Wales 3 days per term. All other training will be undertaken via Teams each week with all equipment provided for you to successfully complete the Apprenticeship
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and have a great sense of humour!

Other Information

  • All tools, uniform including PPE are provided by the company
  • Salary above Apprenticeship rate
  • Due to working in domestic properties a clean DBS will be required
