Start Date: Placements will start in summer 2022, depending on University requirements.

In our MSAT Industrial Placement, you will work in collaboration with our Development team, Manufacturing team and clients to drive improvements to our cell and gene therapy manufacturing processes ensuring we can bring our therapies to patients as safely, quickly and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Working, as part of the MSAT team, on the transfer of new Manufacturing processes into our Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Manufacturing facilities.

* Completion of process and facility gap assessments for new processes and generation of robust process transfer plans.

* Development of new technical protocols, SOPs and related technical documentation to support technology transfer and ongoing development of Manufacturing projects.

* Completion of quality and regulatory related documentation in line with Good Manufacturing Practice.

* Working within our cleanroom facilities supporting the manufacture of cell and gene therapies according to GMP.

* Support of the evaluation and adoption of new cell therapy manufacturing technologies.

* Ensuring confidentiality of all information relating to clients and patients is maintained at all times.

* Completion of quality and regulatory related documentation in line with Good Manufacturing Practice.

Requirements:

You will:

* Have an interest in biologics Manufacturing or Process Development.

* Currently be studying for a BSc or MSc degree in a Biological, Biomedical or Chemical Sciences (or related) discipline at a UK University and taking an approved placement/sandwich year as part of your degree course.

* Have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 across your time at University so far.

* Be fully eligible to work in the UK full-time.
