Job Title- Regulatory Compliance Graduate - Energy

Salary - Competitive starting salary, dependent on qualifications and previous experience. Plus Veolia benefits listed below

Location - 210 Pentonville Road, London, N1 9JY

Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Graduate Programme

This will be a 2-year programme starting in September 2022, which will provide you with valuable exposure and insight into Veolia services and strategic Veolia projects.

As part of the Graduate Development Programme, you will go through a structured development programme, undertaking leadership, management, soft skills and safety modules with your graduate cohort.

What will you be doing?

Support internal project management and deployment and compliance of existing and future regulatory schemes (Such as Carbon Taxation, Emissions Trading Schemes, Renewable Incentives, CHPQA, etc.).
Support presentations and briefing of legislative policy to stakeholders (internal and external).
Ensure all reporting deadlines for existing regulatory schemes are met.
Reporting and analysis of current energy regulations.
Advise on impact of regulation changes and assist in response to relevant consultations.
Maintain procedures regarding compliance of Government and market policy.

What are we looking for?

Degree in Environmental Management/Engineering (a minimum of 2:1 to be achieved by Sept 2022)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Numerate and analytical skills
Knowledge of Energy Legislation (Desirable)
