About the Role

* Practiced at record keeping

* Practiced at filing

* Practical experience of general office procedures

* Developing knowledge of the function of the commercial department within the Project Team

* Practical experience of communication and working with other elements of Project Team

* Understanding of the process of applications and payment

* Practiced at analysing and preparing for inclusion in application for payments labour returns, material receipts, allocation sheets and the like

* Practical experience of reviewing cost allocations

* Input into the application and credit control processes

* Input into the optimisation of income

* Input into the change control system

* Understanding of project risk

* Production of CVRs

* Input into costing process and providing forecasting data

* Understanding the management of the full sub-contract cycle and input into sub-contract documentation

* Understanding of dispute resolution

Qualifications

* Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent

* Working towards Professional Qualification

* Suitable post degree experience working in contracting commercial department preferably within the rail industry

* Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction industry conditions of contract

* COINS
