The Manse nursery was established in 1988 and continues to maintain a reputation for being the best in the area.

The nursery is set in a large detached Victorian house in a quiet cul-de-sac, behind Clarendon road Primary school, with both easy access and parking.  The building is in its own grounds surrounded by large play areas.

Job description  

A fantastic opportunity has become available at The Manse Day Nursery. They are looking for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their ‘Good’ setting, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children’s play, learning & development.

 

Duties Will include

 

• Caring for children

 

• Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs

 

• Supporting children's play and learning

 

• Supporting children's development

 

• Adhere to all safeguarding practices

 

• Preparing snacks and help with their feeding and cleaning

 

 

As an apprentice you will be included on a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship, this will involve a Regional Trainer meeting you once a month in the workplace from Babcock Training.

Future Prospects  

This vacancy is for a permanent position (for at least the duration of the Apprenticeship) with the possibility of fulltime employment within The The Manse Day Nursery upon the successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.

Things to consider  

Working 40 Hours earliest start 7:30am latest finish time 6pm
Must have eligibility to work in the UK and speak a good level of English language.
