What is Technology & Engineering at KPMG?
Technology is at the heart of what we do and is part of the very DNA of our business. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with high-profile organisations, we create digital transformation and use tech-enabled solutions to help them solve some of their biggest business challenges.

Software Engineering Degree Apprenticeship
As an apprentice, you’ll notice the energy from the moment you get here. You’ll be immersed in a supportive team with people who will help you to build the confidence and skills you need to create digital transformation, both for KPMG and for our clients.

You’ll combine studying for a degree, with working alongside technical experts - learning specialisms such as software development, Cloud infrastructure, user experience design (UX), testing, coding and project management.

Our software engineers come from a diverse range of backgrounds and we look for people who are curious and passionate about technology, who have a team-first mindset, want to learn, and enjoy solving problems.

If you’re seeking the chance to achieve a degree, gain valuable work experience and learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry – then join us, and start your exciting career in technology.

Training and Benefits
You’ll have access to an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development; and the chance to use your skills to make a difference through a range of community volunteering initiatives.  On this apprenticeship, you’ll study for the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions at either Manchester Metropolitan University or Queen Mary University. You’ll have the opportunity to earn a salary, gain valuable work experience, and achieve a degree - all at the same time. We offer a host of great benefits too, including 25 days holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday.

Your qualifications
We will look at your academic results, and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See our ‘Applying to KPMG’ section on our Careers Portal for further guidance.
