Reporting to the Sales Director, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager, who ultimately will be responsible for generating new business from conversions of enterprise accounts within the cloud-based technology industry.

With the breadth to go across any sector, the successful candidate will support and directly participate in implementing a defined growth strategy. The key focus is to strengthen the company's market position for two tech-based service lines, by locating, developing, defining, promoting, negotiating, and securing new business. Additionally, the correct candidate must forge close links to our in-house software development and graphic design team, to ensure the continued development of our technology is in line with customer expectations.

A natural relationship builder with networking ability, the correct candidate will be able to identify new growth opportunities and develop rapport with key stakeholders. Full training and development will be provided for the correct person. On offer is more than a job - it is a future career at high-level sales within the recruitment industry. This opportunity is open to anybody, as experience is not necessary. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic, as these are the key competencies and behaviours required to be successful within sales.

Key responsibilities - Full Training Provided

To have a clear understanding of our tech service lines, with a view to selling our features and benefits to prospective clients.
To recognise cross-selling opportunities across the entire proposition, to ensure maximum penetration.
Generate new business, whilst meeting monthly and annual sales targets.
To keep up to date with developments within the tech sector and feedback into the in-house development team.
Contribute to campaigns held within the BDM team, as well as effectively manage client contacts for repeat business through referrals.
Present as required, when tendering for new business
Attend and contribute to monthly sales meetings with prepared sales update reports
The successful candidate will be tasked with understanding where opportunities exist regionally and nationally for business growth, including securing new business within previously unexploited sectors

Self-starter who is target-driven and motivated
Excellent communication and presentation skills (telephone, written and face-to-face).
Excellent time management, an individual who thrives on working autonomously.
The ideal candidate will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate and diplomatic.
